Citibank, N.A. seeks an Information Security Operations Senior Manager for its Irving, Texas location.

Duties : Plan, implement, upgrade, or monitor security measures for the protection of computer networks and information. Assess system vulnerabilities for security risks, propose and implement risk mitigation strategies. Protect and preserve corporate information through encryption and decryption processes. Prevent, monitor and respond to information and data breaches and cyber-attacks. Validate compliance with security practices and standards and validate controls to ensure no major information security issues are present. Reduce likelihood of audit, regulatory and legal liabilities through controls and testing. Reduce risk of confidential data disclosure and successful cyber-attacks by engaging appropriate people and validating controls. Present system requirements to development teams and communicate project plans and updates to appropriate stakeholders or management. Report project metrics and status in presentations for senior management. Ensure execution of Information Security directives and activities in alignment with firm’s data security policy. Resolve service requests using ITIL framework, Palo Alto networks, and Check Point security software. Address proxy requests and filter proxy services using Blue Coat ProxySG Administrator. Route traffic and enforce security policies through Cisco networks. A telecommuting / hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements : Requires a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 3 years of experience as a Perimeter Security L3 Operations Support Engineer, Network Security Engineer, Network Specialist or related position involving the prevention, monitoring and response to breaches and cyber-attacks. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in the stated fields and 5 years of the specified progressive, post-baccalaureate experience. 3 years of experience must include : Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL); Check Point security software; Encryption; Computer and network security; Cisco and Juniper networks. 1 year of experience must include : Blue Coat ProxySG Administrator; Palo Alto networks.
