Institutional Credit Management (ICM) – Business Unit Manager (SVP)
Job Purpose:
This role sits within the new created global Institutional Credit Management (ICM) business within ICG which has been established with the objective to provide an integrated “end-to-end” credit underwriting, identification, measurement, management, and monitoring for wholesale credit businesses across the enterprise.
The role will be based in Tampa, reporting to Global Business Manager and will involve oversight of Tampa based Business management team in supporting the wider CAO team and ICM employees in NY, London, and APAC with various strategic initiatives of the Organization
The primary function of the role is to setup a Global Business management team based out of Tampa to assist with ongoing BAU activities of the ICM business management function including assisting with various business initiatives. The role requires close liaison with various other Business Areas and support functions such as - Finance, Compliance, Technology and Operations to ensure timely escalation and remediation of issues.
The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years financial services experience in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities:
The successful execution of this role requires the individual to demonstrate a wide range of financial, business, and strong inter-personal skills. The primary responsibility for the role is to provide day to day support in the smooth operation of ICM business including
- Setup and lead a central global business management function based out of Tampa, including creation and documentation of business processes starting with the Onboarding process

Create and execute a global streamlined onboarding process for ICM staff members globally (NAM, EMEA and APAC) including
- Tracking of potential new hires and readiness for new starters – tracking start dates with HR
- Identify and work with key stakeholders and touchpoints for smooth end-to-end onboarding and day one readiness of new employees
- Work with Real Estate and other stakeholders to track and plan for future real estate requirements
- Raising CMP requests and coordination tech support for equipment and system access with seats, equipment, headset monitors, PC etc.
- Follow through and coordinate with Managers and all support functions to ensure readiness to receive the new hire on the start date and assist with Access card, addition of names to the Covid Return to work list
- Work on other logistics such as addition of the name to appropriate email distribution
- Raise request to get access to team/ Job specific systems

Support the businesses and control groups with execution of various business, compliance and risk controls, namely
- Initial and an ongoing Employee Entitlement Reviews (EERS)
- Maintaining employee regulatory designations such as CFTC Associated Persons (AP)
- Tracking public and private side designations
- Support with follow up on Compliance queries and escalations
- Review and reconciliation of Recording of phone lines
- Maintain strong working relationship with Desktop IT and securing on the ground support from various infrastructure groups
- Track technology initiatives and participate in testing. Support with Continuity of Business (COB) planning and participate in disaster recovery initiatives
- Be a central point of contact for 2nd LoD and support functions such as Internal Audit (IA), finance, compliance, technology, and operations as necessary for resolution of business issues and ensure ongoing support for the businesses.
- Participate in Internal or external reviews and audits of the businesses
- Assist with organization and preparation of various meetings and forums – including preparing materials, taking notes, and ensuring actions are tracked and follow-up on
- Provide backup and support for the other regional Business managers in APAC and NAM
Knowledge/Experience:
- Experience working in CAO / COO office, middle office, risk, compliance or financial control
- Background in project management and similar relevant work experience in financial services will be a plus
- Experience working in global and complex settings with multiple stakeholders
- Proven ability to work in a team of diverse skill sets and cultures
- Fixed Income products knowledge and understanding of Risk management would be advantageous
- Familiarity with Citi’s internal processes and systems including Front Office Credit systems such as CitiRisk is a plus

Qualifications:
- Degree preferred or sufficient industry experience
- An interest in and prior exposure to risk management within capital markets, and familiarity with financial institution regulation and policies
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Master’s Degree Preferred
