Branch Manager - SAFE Act
A senior management professional responsible for providing full leadership and direction to a team of employees, growing sales and client base in coordination with the consumer sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop sales plans and drive individual production goals, including building referral networks and relationships with internal partners and external contacts.
- Create an environment through activity-based coaching and performance development, implementing and executing coaching plans to develop employees' skill sets and achieve personal/branch goals.
- Develop and execute integrated sales, relationship, and credit strategies that are aligned with the Retail Bank's priorities, executing business plans to achieve expected goals in all business categories.
- Support portfolio growth by identifying opportunities to deepen relationships and increase client acquisition, ensuring clients receive optimal service and monitoring/adhering to operational controls.
- Leverage workforce planning tools to optimize staffing in branches, setting expectations for branch staff, and fostering an environment in which team members work together to achieve all business goals.
- Integrate segment partners, partner with Assistant Managers, and partner with Division Operations to drive sales and drive outbound sales activities, including representing Citi and building partnerships in the community.
- Investigate controllable losses among branch staff, provide coaching, and manage performance on decisions used.
- Lead hiring processes and coordinate performance management, compensation, communication, and employee evaluations of branch staff.
- Responsible for planning, budgeting, and policy formulation and involved in short-term planning resource planning.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in banking or financial industry preferred.
- Sales management experience preferred.
- Registered or willing to register as mortgage loan originator with Nationwide Mortgage Licensing.
- Bachelor's Degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
