Automotive Yard Operations Technician

Citibus is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a full-time Automotive Yard Operations Technician position who will be responsible for yard control of Citibus revenue and non-revenue vehicles as well as performing general and preventative maintenance on Citibus vehicles, equipment and facilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

1. Completing all levels of preventative maintenance to include oil changes or lubrication and conduct inspections of all classes of vehicles operated by Citibus to ensure vehicles are in a serviceable and safe condition.

2. Minor repairs and tune-ups.

3. Providing assistance to mechanics.

4. Repairing minor electrical, mechanical, air conditioning components, and tires and tubes.

5. Other duties as assigned/required.

Qualifications include:

• High School Diploma or GED and one to three years related experience or licensures from a related field. Supplemental training through an accredited technical school preferred.
• Must have a Commercial Driver's License (Class B with air brakes and passenger endorsement)
• Working knowledge of hand tools and equipment.
• 1 year of automotive maintenance experiencepreferred.
• 1 year related yard control experience preferred.

Typical work schedule: Afternoon Shift - Monday thru Friday (12:00pm - 8:30pm)

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
