Daytime Porter

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Porter to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities. This position requires a proactive, self-motivated individual who is skilled in various cleaning techniques and facilities maintenance. The Porter will ensure that all areas are kept clean, safe, and welcoming for both staff and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks in a commercial setting, ensuring all areas are maintained to high standards.
• Conduct custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Carry out cleaning tasks as required, adhering to safety protocols.
• Assist with facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work is preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning practices is advantageous.
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team setting.
• Positive attitude and strong social skills.
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, lifting, and bending for extended periods.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
