What are the responsibilities and job description for the Janitorial Services Technician position at CitiClean Janitorial Services?
A local growing company is seeking self-motivated, dependable individuals who takes pride in their work. We are actively seeking permanent janitorial employees available for work in the State College Area. Essential job duties include dusting, trash collection, bathroom cleaning, sweeping and mopping floors, window cleaning, and other duties as assigned. Must have clean background. Previous cleaning experience is preferred, but not required. Pay & benefits are competitive and depend on experience.
Responsibilities
- Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc)
- Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
- Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
- Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
- Make adjustments and minor repairs
- Stock and maintain supply rooms
- Cooperate with the rest of the staff
- Follow all health and safety regulations
Skills
- Proven working experience as a janitor
- Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
- Integrity and ability to work independently
- High school degree
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
