Dental Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a registered and skilled Dental Assistant to join our family oriented dental practice team.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. This position requires a blend of clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping patients achieve optimal oral health.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring a sterile and efficient environment.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient procedures.
• Perform dental imaging as needed and maintain accurate patient records.
• Implement aseptic techniques to prevent infection and ensure patient safety.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
• Support the dental team with administrative tasks as necessary.
• Maintain inventory of dental supplies and assist in ordering when needed.

Skills

• Strong skills in assisting during procedures with an emphasis on four-handed dentistry techniques. 4 Years minimum experience preferred
• Familiarity with dental software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix is beneficial.
• Understanding of endodontics and related procedures is preferred.
• Competence in dental imaging techniques to support diagnostic processes.
• Aseptic technique expertise to ensure compliance with health standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.07 - $27.44 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 24 per week
