The Ops Sup Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for providing operations support services, including but not limited to; record / documentation maintenance, storage & retrieval of records, account maintenance, imaging and the opening of accounts in coordination with the Operations - Core Team. Analyst is responsible for value stream mapping, data concepts, application mapping, regulation adherence, and issue identification. Additionally, the Ops Sup Lead Analyst serves as the liaison between operations staff, managers, project managers, custodians and clients. The overall objective of this role is to provide day-to-day operations support in alignment with Citi operations support infrastructure, technology resources and processes.
Responsibilities :
- Serve as technical authority for an area within the business providing advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business as well as provide operational assistance
- Provide Operational Oversight for all applicable regulations including audit preparation, procedure review, and process flows.
- Perform data analysis to discover inconsistencies, define problems, develop innovative solutions, streamline operational processes and expand Operations capabilities for new products and services
- Communicate regularly with all Operations teams and departments
- Maintain knowledge of Citi's operational procedures, best practices in business strategy and process / quality improvements in order to provide customized business solution recommendations to internal clients
- Analyze existing operational processes and apply creativity to complex situations, as needed
- Lead projects across multiple Operations areas, serving as an analytical and / or procedural expert and coach lower level team members on operational processes
- Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
- Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
- Acts as Primary Business Information owner for technology applications
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
