The Senior Information Security Officer is a managerial position responsible for managing information security risk for US Personal Banking (USPB) Ops, Analytics, ATM and Fraud teams. In this role, you will develop specialized business and technical knowledge in order to facilitate risk-based decision making that focuses on reducing information security risk. In addition, you will provide guidance on information security topics, controls and policies.
You will manage a team of Information Security Officers whose mission is to securely enable USPB business and technology teams. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the execution of Information Security directives and activities in alignment with Citi's information security policy.
Responsibilities :
Conduct stakeholder meetings with business and technical partners to review risks and ensure they are in alignment with key indicators / risk appetite
Manage a team of Information Security Officers responsible for executing on risk reduction programs including but not limited to vulnerability management, and third-party risk
Provide input to facilitate risk exceptions and corrective action plans
Act consultatively to provide guidance to business or technical stakeholders on IS topics
Partner globally with Information Security Officers and Information Security Program Managers to improve processes and reduce risk
Ensure risks are identified, assessed, mitigated and controlled, and assist Security Incident Response Teams as the Business IS Consultant
Appropriately assess information security risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the Firm's reputational and regulatory risk.
Serves as an Information Security subject matter expert and participates in the development, implementation and maintenance of information security for the line of business (LOB)
Advises LOB management on risk issues related to information security and recommends actions in support of the bank's wider risk management framework
Monitors information security trends internal and external to the bank and keeps LOB leadership informed about information security-related issues
Qualifications :
10 years of relevant experience
Ability to build strong Partner relationships with peer technology groups and supported LOB
Excellent communication skills; experience presenting to executive management
Possess strong / experienced application development and / or application security background; with solid knowledge of SDLC from design, testing, deployment to post production and the different risk elements associated with each step
Familiarly with JIRA and Agile methodology
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a variety of analytical groups, technology teams, service delivery organizations and business stakeholders
Advanced analytical and problem solving skills
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Proficient in interpreting and applying policies, standards and procedures
Advanced Microsoft Office skills preferred
Education :
