Technical Data Solution Architect - VP/C13

VP, Technical Data solution Architect, self motivated individual will serve as a Subject matter expert and strategist supporting direct mail, email and digital marketing initiatives. This person must effectively collaborate with marketing & tech partners and external vendors while designing, building solutions state of the art solutions data architectural solutions, and support transformative initiatives like launching omnichannel campaigns on cloud based platforms.

Provide data consultation and develop data architectural solutions including (1) data integration across systems to the marketing data platforms, (2) optimized data provisioning for multi-channel / omni-channel campaign executions through data modernization efforts and (3) seamless data flows through automated systems.

Develop scalable and resilient solutions accommodating future growth and changing business needs.

Build solutions with customer first mindset & build data products to empower end users to democratize data

Adherence to data governance policies while remaining in compliance with privacy regulations.

Ability to develop KPIs and own automated data monitoring across the marketing data and measure the health of 1st party, 2nd party and 3rd party data.

Participate in scrum ceremonies and adhere to Agile practices for delivery of data products. Be able to coordinate with multiple stakeholder JIRA processes

Manage stakeholders with frequent communication, expectation management, meeting deadlines, and minimizing surprises

Qualifications

Bachelor’s / University degree, Master’s degree preferred

Required knowledge of technologies and operations involving Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), Marketing Data Platforms, Cloud services like (AWS / Azure / GCP).

Has 6 years of experience in architecting data solutions leveraging managed cloud services

Ability to manage ad hoc demands along with organizational priorities and set realistic expectations.

5 years’ experience in project / process management

3 years direct complex SQL, ETL, data architecture & data warehousing experience

3 years direct Big Data tools (Hadoop, Hive, etc.) and AWS / GCP / Azure experience

3 years direct data visualization (Tableau, etc.), dashboards & reports, MIS experience

3 years process audit and optimization experience

Experience in system analysis and writing business and functional specifications.

Direct experience with JIRA, Confluence and agile tools highly desired.

Advanced competency in Excel, PowerPoint, Visio & MS Project

Experience managing partner / vendor relations and performance; evaluating proposals, structure and negotiating agreements

Credit Bureau and industry information data knowledge is a plus

Comfortable in ambiguous situations, a self-starter and self-learner who can work independently, with strong follow-through

Capability to identify fresh approaches to marketing processes and technology and show a willingness to question status-quo

Strong communication, presentation, leadership and influencing skills; experienced at interacting with various levels within the organization including senior management
