Strategic Ledger Data Lead

The Strategic Ledger program is the implementation of new General Ledger and Contract Sub-Ledger solution for all legal entities, countries, and products for Citi. The overall Data Lead for this program will be responsible for managing a global data team across data quality, data governance, master data management, data conversion and reconciliation, and defining common intake and output templates for all inbound and outbound integrations. Another key component of the data work will be overseeing and driving the refinement of the end to end finance data architecture for each pass through accounting and event based accounting release. This role requires strong global banking experience along with strong understanding of banking data structures and products. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Some external communication / negotiation may be necessary. Responsible for defining and executing the data strategy for the Strategic Ledger. Full management responsibility for multiple data teams, including management of people, budget and planning, to include duties such as performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations and budget approval.
