Job Description:
CitiMed is looking for a strong individual that showcases immense leadership skills to manage one of our medical offices. We are looking for a Practice Manager who has previous experience in running a medical office for more than 5 years. The new manager must possess outstanding organizational and communitive skills. They must be knowledgeable of operational functions and have a strong managerial background. Knowledge of Workers Compensation and No Fault is a plus. We are also looking for someone who can empathize and understand the needs of our staff and patients. Our new manager would be the lead contact and support of their designated office. Detailed Responsibilities:
- Functions as the main contact and support for their respective staff, patients, physicians, providers, and all other parties
- Manages tasks related to the hiring, staff development and performance in collaboration with CitiMed administration and HR policies
- Oversees all the clerical duties of the medical administrative assistants, medical assistants and patient care coordinator to ensure the completion of their assigned responsibilities and instructed projects
- Works cooperatively and respectfully with the physicians and providers of the clinic, providing timely organizational information as well as seeking their input in clinic and staffing changes
- Establishes processes and implements them to ensure as many appointments as possible are being utilized
- Provides reports on a monthly or as needed basis with commentary that outlines the reasons for variance in data and communicates with other office managers to share positive practice outcomes
- Attends and actively participates in meetings as assigned by the CEO, CFO, and engages in studies and conversations related to improving performance as an organization
- Orders and keeps track of all supplies, equipment and necessary inventory for the efficient operation of the clinic and office
- Consults with the medical, legal, or compliance departments regarding regulations, practices, practice law, certification requirements, etc.
- Uses critical thinking skills and sound judgment to resolve any patient, employee and/or clinic issues that are logical and well-thought out
- Works cooperatively with various departments at CitiMed providing timely office information, uploading and sending documentation, and adhering to any request that may be asked of them
- Models’ professionalism by example through the adherence to the hospital and medical facility policies, including those related to HIPAA and CitiMed’s Code of Ethics
What the Candidate will bring:
o Bachelor’s degree in health services administration or related field
o 5 years’ experience in managing a medical office
o 5 years’ experience in personnel management and/or supervising a department.
o Ability to work in a high-volume, complex environment
o Ability to foster a positive, problem-solving approach in their workplace
o Excellent in multitasking, time management, research and analytical skills
o Managerial style that is results oriented, open and transparent
Hourly Rate/ Salary depends on experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
