Janitorial Worker

Overview:
We are currently seeking a Janitor to join our team. As a Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within our facilities. This is a vital role in ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for both employees and visitors.

Duties:
- Perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when replenishment is needed
- Follow established safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Perform floor care duties such as buffing, waxing, and polishing
- Conduct routine inspections to identify areas that require attention or repairs
- Assist with setting up meeting rooms or event spaces as needed
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and hygiene standards

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in commercial or industrial cleaning preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may involve lifting heavy objects or standing for extended periods of time
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
