SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:
The Club Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day services of the social club. They are responsible for ensuring the club experience is positive and safe for all who attend. The Club Manager will maintain confidentiality and engage members to promote physical, mental, and social development. They will maintain client records and monitor client’s overall wellbeing. The Club Manager will also be responsible for transportation as approved by the Manger, and advocate for clients needs.
Essential Functions (Job Duties)
• Provide direct coordination of the Psychosocial Club
• Interviewing/Screening referrals as assigned by the Program Coordinator / Supervisor
• Assessing for program eligibility and client needs
• Work in a clinical/case management team
• Provide direct supervision, orientation, and necessary training to the Club Activities Assistant and other Club Staff
• Provide emergency and or interim services including referral and linkage for incoming and returning consumers,
• Supervise planning and implementation of social, recreational, educational, and vocational opportunities with Club Members.
• Assure that decisions regarding program activities and the expenditure of members’ funds, program activities funds, and events coordination are member driven.
• Engaging members to promote physical, mental, and social development in a therapeutic and positive manner.
• Identify member needs and coordinate pre-vocational, education, and social programming to meet these needs.
• Assisting active Community Services client’s with the development of their service plans and goal achievement.
• Evaluating client progress and outcomes of interventions through evidence based assessment.
• Maintaining a professional and responsible manner in relation to clients, staff, and the general public.
• Adhering to professional standards and the code of ethics of the respective clinical discipline.
• Maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPPA regulations as it pertains to the clients served by the program.
• All other duties as assigned by Agency Management.
Service Oriented Responsibilities:
• Linking clients with appropriate services and making referrals to appropriate services with member consent
• Advocating for clients’ access to services and for the best interest of the clients.
• Transporting clients or coordinating transportation as needed to the Clubhouse, to Club events, and to necessary appointments as approved by the Manager.
• Collaboration with the local mental health center and the other partner agencies (with appropriate authorizations of releases) to effectively manage crisis events and maintain a therapeutic Club environment.
• Collaborating with local providers toward recruitment of new members.
• Supervising the completion of distribution of the Club Newsletter (Calendar)
• Maintaining and engaging members’ and staff in outings and activities.
Administrative Responsibilities:
• Preparing and maintaining client records in accordance with department procedures.
• Developing, as needed, other services to meet client needs when no appropriate service exists or when existing services are inadequate.
• Maintaining and reconciling the allocated emergency and petty cash fund.
• Utilizing the purchase order process
• Maintaining daily client service utilization records including transportation records and Clubhouse log.
• Attending and participating regular supervision as well as monthly Staff meeting and weekly clinic meeting.
• Reporting to Manager and/or Associate Director for all emergencies and other concerns and work towards resolution.
• Responsible for the completion and submission of statistical information as required by OMH, the business office, and the Manager.
• Responsible for ensuring the maintenance of property and vehicles is met and the proper procedure is followed regarding work orders.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position.
Workweek schedule: Monday – Friday
Hours of work: 8:00-4:00 pm (flexible with prior approval of supervisor)
Hours and schedules may vary depending on Company and Program needs. Employees will be given as much notice as possible when such changes occur.
Travel
Travel to planned club events and or scheduled outings for members as well as assisting with transporting club members to and from appointments.
Required Education and Experience
1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Five years of experience with mental health disorders and/or developmental disabilities.
3. Minimum of 3 years licensed driving experience with a clean driving record.
