Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set, enabling them to tackle various repair and maintenance tasks efficiently. Duties
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on residential and commercial properties, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks.
- Utilize tools and equipment effectively, including the use of an ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify issues that require attention or repair.
- Respond promptly to service requests and complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored after use.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service.
- Document completed work and report any additional repairs needed to management.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Handy Man or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with various hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and carpentry techniques is essential.
- Experience using an ohmmeter for electrical troubleshooting is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude are crucial for success in this role.
