Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pilates Instructor to join our fitness team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Pilates and a commitment to helping clients achieve their fitness goals. This role involves designing engaging and effective Pilates programs, providing instruction in various formats, and fostering a supportive and motivating environment for all participants.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement personalized Pilates programs tailored to individual client needs and fitness levels.
- Conduct group Pilates classes, ensuring proper technique and safety throughout each session.
- Educate clients on body mechanics, physiology, and the benefits of Pilates to enhance their understanding and performance.
- Incorporate elements of dance, yoga, kickboxing, or cycle into classes as appropriate to diversify offerings.
- Promote fitness sales by encouraging client engagement in additional classes or programs offered at the facility.
- Maintain a clean and organized studio environment, ensuring all equipment is safe and functional for use.
- Provide feedback to clients on their progress, offering encouragement and modifications as needed to support their journey.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in Pilates instruction to continually enhance personal skills and class offerings.
Requirements
- Certification in Pilates instruction from a recognized organization is required.
- Strong knowledge of body mechanics, physiology, and program design principles.
- Experience in related fitness disciplines such as yoga, dance, kickboxing, or cycle is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate clients effectively.
- A passion for fitness and helping others achieve their health goals.
- Ability to create a positive and motivating atmosphere within the studio environment.
- Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate various class times and client needs.
