ORGANIZATIONAL UNIT: Health Services Department: Behavioral Health/Substance abuse/Tribal Youth Program
SUPERVISOR: Behavioral Health Coordinator
FLSA: Exempt
SALARY RANGE: $55,000- $90,000
ALL FULL TIME POSITIONS: In addition to your pay, your salary also includes Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance. The Biweekly deduction from employee paycheck is $40.00 for Employee Only, $95.00 Employee plus Children, $120.00 Employee plus Spouse, and $140.00 Employee plus family.
CPN Health Services personnel may be assigned to provide services to patients of all ages including but not limited to Indian
Children and will require a criminal history background screening.
JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for providing family, individual, and group therapy; psychological testing and evaluation of patients; and monitoring treatment-planning efforts.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Counseling and providing psychoeducation with youth and their parents/adult caregivers to address various mental health and substance use problems.
· Psychological screening of clients.
· Conduct strength-based assessments and BIOPSYCHSOCIAL evaluations with incoming patients.
· Participation, facilitation, and documentation of the clinical staffing with the coordinator of Behavioral Health Services.
· Monitor treatment – plans according to individual and family needs.
· Maintain case records to ensure quality and professionalism.
· Acting as resource person to the educational department.
· Develop and aid in the implementation of new treatment programs.
· Establish contact with various community resources according to patient’s needs.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
· Perform other duties and projects as required by management.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
· Highly developed ability to screen and use screening data to assist youth and their families.
· Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
· Demonstrated skills in clinical interviewing.
· Demonstrated ability in group, individual, and family therapy.
· Demonstrated skills in consultation and the ability to work as a part of a team.
· Knowledge of co-occurring issues for adolescents and adults.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION:
· Masters degree from an accredited college/university.
· Oklahoma state licensure is required.
· At least two years experience in the human services field with specific experience working with you and their families.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.
- Bending, stretching, kneeling and may require some lifting.
- Repetitive computer work.
- Must possess a sound physical and emotional personality.
- Emotional demands are particularly heavy because of the personal and sensitive nature of the work.
- Performance of duties often involves stamina and alertness.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:
· High traffic office with sensitive issues.
· Working with patients with behavioral and substance use problems.
