Trust Officer

Citizens First National Bank of Storm Lake, Iowa is eager to find a dynamic, customer-focused professional to join our team as a Trust Officer. This position requires an individual who is not only motivated but also possesses a deep commitment to client service and teamwork in our busy banking landscape. The Trust Officer will be responsible for the administration of trust, estate, conservatorship, and investment management accounts, while also spearheading new business initiatives and cultivating strong client partnerships. Our Bank's Trust & Wealth Management team currently oversees over $400 million in assets, reflecting our reputation for excellence.

Essential Duties :

• Enhance client satisfaction through personalized service that fosters trust and durable relationships.
• Administer a variety of clients’ accounts including trusts, estates, conservatorships, and manage investment portfolios.
• Implement discretionary distribution protocols in line with governing documentation, conduct corpus reconciliations, and manage allocations of income and principal.
• Partner with investment officers / managers to examine and govern client portfolios, ensuring liquidity for necessary distributions.
• Maintain compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies while staying current with client documents.
• Prepare and present comprehensive reports to the Trust Committee, taking part in the yearly account and compliance reviews.
• Oversee the creation and timely delivery of reports and disclosures to clients, courts, attorneys, and accountants.
• Engage in professional development through participation in seminars and social events, as well as networking with clients and key stakeholders within the community.
