Job Responsibilities for the Mortgage Lender
Serves as a primary residential real estate lender for the bank.
Responsible for underwriting real estate loans.
Responsible for periodic review of existing bank products and services as well as new product development.
Remain current on mortgage processing, loan underwriting and maintaining real estate files and documentation.
Provide functional support for other loan officers.
Solicit new business by contacting prospective customers.
Participate in overall bank management by serving on committees.
Provide management with reports or other information as directed to inform them of activities and progress.

Mortgage Lender Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in finance / business administration or equivalent work experience
Computer and mathematical skills
Oral and written communication skills
Experience with mortgage software preferred
