Job Description
- Complete comprehensive credit memos which outline cash flow condition of borrowing and guaranteeing entities, collateral condition, exposure, and stress testing of salient financial information.
- In collaboration with the Credit Officer, identify risks and mitigating factors associated with new and existing credit facilities to the Lender and Chief Lending Officer.
- In collaboration with the Credit Officer, assist other analysts with cash flow, collateral, and other fundamental analysis as needed.
- Perform annual reviews for relationships to ensure facilities are operating as agreed, assess risks at origination, identify new risks since origination.
- Perform additional reporting as required in collaboration with Credit Officer.
- Conduct stress testing of the prospective borrower’s repayment ability.
- Review and recommend risk rating for new and existing credits
- Perform other duties as directed and assigned by management

Work Environment
Work is performed primarily at a desk with regular contact with employees and customers, in person and on the phone. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Physical Demands
The workspace is typically at a shared workspace with a desk location. The position is issued a laptop or tablet with mobility available throughout the business location. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to communicate effectively with others, sit, stand, walk, and use hands to handle keyboard, telephone, paper, files, and other equipment and objects. The position requires the ability to review detailed documents and read computer screens. Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with exposure to finance, accounting, mathematics, or related field preferred. Commensurate experience to be considered
- Minimum 3 years in credit analysis or similar role
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of various lending facilities and structures to include Commercial Real Estate, 1-4 Family, C&I, and SBA facilities
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of financial statements to include Personal and Corporate Tax Returns, Company Prepared Statements, Audits, etc.
- Intermediate knowledge of regulatory rules and guidance for financial institutions, to include LTV limitations and regulatory concentrations guidelines preferred
- Familiarity in understanding and interpreting Internal Loan Policy at current or former institutions
