Description

Citizens Bank of Kansas, a fourth-generation family-owned community bank, has an opportunity to join an awesome team at our Augusta and El Dorado branches. This full-time Loan Assistant will play an important role in the efficient preparation and closing of agriculture, mortgage, consumer, and commercial loan documents.

What We’re Looking For

• A positive, energetic, and professional attitude
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial/consumer loan assisting, underwriting, or processing
• Knowledge and proficiency in loan and banking transactions, including prior experience with GL accounts
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• A commitment to providing superior customer service both internally and externally
• This position will provide support to a loan officer based in Medicine Lodge. Candidates located in Medicine Lodge will also have the opportunity to offer remote assistance to our Augusta and El Dorado teams.
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee loan administration by reviewing, uploading, and updating incoming documents, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining open communication with borrowers, Loan Officers, and other team members
• Provide administrative support throughout the entire lending process, assisting multiple lenders in all stages
• Review loan applications and perform initial credit analysis
• Prepare presentations for new loan requests or loan modifications
• Ensure that all loans are processed in adherence to established guidelines and regulations
• Deliver excellent customer service to all clients, ensuring a positive experience
• Conduct thorough due diligence to ensure all documentation complies with company policies
• Maintain the integrity of customer information and ensure proper storage
