Summary:
The position of Credit Administration Specialist will be responsible for learning and understanding the various aspects of Loan Operations, Loan Servicing, Loan Processing and Booking, Loan Collections and Special Assets, Loan Quality Control, Balancing and Escrow while working closely with the Senior Credit Administrator and Chief Credit Officer on any further duties. This role is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of all associated banking regulations, procedures, policies, and practices for the Loan Serving and Operations Department. This role will also work closely with all Loan Servicing and Operations Teams to gain hands-on experience and develop the necessary skills to succeed in a career in banking.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Completes training and development program to gain an understanding of credit management processes and procedures.
- Learn and understand the fundamentals of Credit Administration, including federal - state regulations pertaining to all lending types offered by the Bank, loan documentation standards and procedures, loan documentation preparation, loan servicing processes and procedures, quality control including HMDA, escrow and loan collections/special assets.
- Work within each various team within Credit Administration to gain hands-on experience and develop the necessary skills and knowledge needed to be successful in each role; as needed.
- Assist with customer inquiries, provide guidance, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Support Senior management in analyzing data, preparing and presenting reports, and making recommendations for improving operational efficiency and profitability for the Bank.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to develop knowledge of banking regulations, policies, and compliance procedures.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new banking products and services to meet customer needs and generate revenue for the Bank.
- Actively participate in training and development programs to enhance leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, and decision-making capabilities.
- Performs all other related duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
- This position currently has no supervisory responsibilities and is subject to change as deemed necessary by the Chief Credit Officer.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Management is preferred or associated work experience in a related field.
- At least two years of banking, finance or accounting is preferred or associated higher level education.

The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; stand; and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
