Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, providing an exceptional experience for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, managing the bar area, and ensuring that patrons receive outstanding service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking drink orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible serving practices.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using Aloha POS or other POS systems.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking drink supplies and placing orders as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and drinks during events or busy periods.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation practices.
Skills
- Proven experience in bartending or food service, preferably in a restaurant, nightclub, or fine dining setting.
- Strong knowledge of cocktail recipes and beverage preparation techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with diverse clientele.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs effectively.
- Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and teamwork mentality to collaborate with staff effectively.
