Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential to the smooth operation of our food service environment, which caters to a variety of dining experiences including banquets and hotel services.

Duties

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and kitchen.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, contributing to the overall efficiency of the kitchen team.
• Ensure that all kitchen utensils and equipment are properly cleaned and stored after use.
• Help with bussing tables during peak service times to support front-of-house staff.
• Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a clean working environment.
• Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen supervisor promptly.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with culinary practices and food safety standards is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration in a hospitality setting.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks as needed within the culinary team.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds as required in a busy kitchen environment.
