Citizens Electric Corp. is seeking a full-time Accountant to become a part of the Accounting Team at our headquarters in Perryville, MO. This position earns a competitive wage and excellent benefits.
As part of our team, our Accountants play an important role by ensuring transactional data is accurately reflecting in CEC's system of accounts and that data is balanced to the general ledger. The accountants provide critical support through analysis of financial data and ensures regulatory compliance of financial reporting. Additional areas of responsibility include cash management, financial reporting, expense management and tracking, month end close.
Bachelors' degree in accounting or finance. Cooperative and/or utility experience preferred.
