Under the general supervision of the Community Stakeholder & Engagement Manager, an intern will gain exposure to the following
- Assist with Investment Collaboration on Neighborhoods (ICON) Loan Processes Collaborate in creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with links to reference documents, archive loan documents, and organize loan documents on Citizens Share Drive, draft response templates to loan applicants and law firm. The SOPs will be developed in accordance with Citizens Lean and Six Sigma (CLASS) program.
- Perform General Community Outreach Tasks Schedule presentations, create agendas, update email invite lists, maintain event calendar, and set up outreach tables. Assist with online signup sheet, and post surveys.
- Research and Collaborate Assist with identifying additional outreach services, such as Citizens providing off site customer service and presenting at community events.
- Assist with H2O to Go Manage event requests. Update the H2O calendar. Recruit internal volunteers and manage trailer metrics.
- Assist with Public Outreach for Construction Projects Support the Public Outreach Coordinator with tasks such as track postcard rejection rate, maintain inventory of mailer materials and promotional items and help prepare and distribute mailing lists.
- Assist and Attend Corporate Events Support the Corporate Events and Philanthropy Coordinator. This includes event recruiting and developing and maintaining stakeholder information including attendees’ names, titles, organizations, and profile pictures for stakeholder engagement events. Responsible for tracking community engagement events conducted by Citizens. Ensure the database is updated quarterly and cross-referenced with various internal volunteering lists. Develop innovative strategies to inspire and engage Citizens employees to participate in Citizens-sponsored events. Attend corporate events, community events, and volunteer opportunities as schedule allows.
- Support the Director of Corporate & Public Affairs with miscellaneous business including Warm Heart Warm Home internal web site (SharePoint) reorganization and department Teams channel reorganization.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in communication, public relations, philanthropy, event planning, business, or related discipline.
- Self-starter and detail oriented.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Project management skills.
- Comfortable working in a team setting and independently.
- Ability to bend, lift, and carry up to 30 lbs.
- Familiarity with survey programs.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
