Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for an Information Technology Intern to join our team!
The successful candidate is responsible for conducting full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, design, development, & testing of analytical use-cases. The individual will develop analytical and reporting solutions to support the requirements. This role is also responsible for maturation of the enterprise data management practice and center of excellence.This is an entry level position designed to prepare the employee to work on all phases of data analytics lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and support ongoing business requirements.
- Develop and implement data stores, data analytics and other solutions that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain data in the Citizens Optimized Reporting Engine (CORE) & relevant platform(s).
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
- Consult with mentor to grow and develop within assigned role.
- Performs additional incidental duties as requested.
Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field.
- Ability to demonstrate analytical skills (data collection, processing, analysis, and reporting of large datasets).
- Experience with SQL, BI and visualization tools (tableau, power BI etc.) and presenting findings.
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, R, Python, etc.)
- Ability to work with confidential information, use discretion and best judgment.
- Self-motivated and ability to work with minimal direct supervision.
- Detailed, organized, and thorough with work product.

- Ability to convey and simplify complex data concepts to non-technical users.
- Strong communication and presentations skills.
- Strong analytical, statistical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
