We have an exciting career opportunity for a Steam & Chilled Water Distribution Foreman to join our team!
The successful candidate will be scheduling and supervising the distribution personnel engaged in repairing, replacing and/or locating steam and chilled water mains and services; working with other utilities and contractors. Coordinating outages and personnel schedules to complete assigned jobs. Coordinating all permits and clearances and line locates. Responsible to ensure safety of personnel and the public while performing work in roadways and right of ways.

Responsibilities
- Responds to requests for assistance from personnel in the field.
- coordinating work groups to complete jobs based on level of importance.
- Confirm on-hand materials for pending and future jobs.
- Write reports for repair requests, close out jobs and manhole inspection sheets on INFOR EAM Computer System.
- Analyze all aspects of current jobs and work sites to ensure that work is scheduled and completed in a safe and timely manner.
- All other office functions pertaining to the daily operation of the department, including time entry, personnel issues and bargaining units issues, etc.
- Secure street cut permits and call for utility locates.
- Mange work being performed by Contractors.
- Company vehicle will be provided during work hours from work site to job sites. No take home vehicle will be provided for this position.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Must have and maintain a valid Indiana Drivers License
- Minimum two years of college course and/or technical school or equivalent in pluming, welding, construction technology, mechanical or civil engineering, steam fundamentals.
- Five (5) years experience operating and maintaining high pressure steam and chilled water distribution systems.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications
- Welding Certification
- Class A Commercial Driver`s License
- OSHA approved training in trenching and safety.
