What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supply Chain Intern position at Citizens Energy Group?
Overview
We have an opportunity for a Supply Chain Intern to join our team!
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting Supply Chain staff including but not limited to director, analyst, procurement, inventory, and supplier diversity staff. Responsible for data analysis, compliance, process documentation, reporting, continuous improvement initiatives, and other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Supports continuous improvement and change management efforts.
- Contributes to preparation of reports, specifications, and studies of limited scope. Performs research and develops recommendations, based on assignments.
- Shares information with others as requested. Coordinates with others when directed by leadership.
- Focuses on the needs of internal clients while attempting to gain basic understanding of Supply Chain’s role.
- Understands and adheres to budget, schedule, and quality requirements
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Active attendance at a college or university.
- A current Grade Point Average of 3.0 or higher.
- Valid State of Indiana, Bureau of Motor Vehicles Operator’s License.
- Ability to work both remotely and access Citizens' local office and site facilities.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
- Experience preferred in Microsoft Windows 365, Office Suite
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively and successfully with other team members
- Ability to manage project aspects assigned while handling multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
- Completed at least Sophomore year level of studies
