Minimum Salary $46,700 (Grade 5)
- Develops familiarity and working knowledge of standards, systems, document control, departmental guides, and Citizens policies and procedures. Able to produce daily construction inspection logs and perform basic document management tasks.
- Ensures that deliverables are accurate and compliant by understanding and complying with the Citizens Quality Program. Demonstrates personal accuracy and supports continuous improvement and change management efforts.
- Learns the applications required to modify less complex deliverables based on a variety of design inputs.
- Learns to identify the needs of internal clients and begins to gain a basic understanding of external clients’ main interests and drivers.
- Understands and adheres to budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma, equivalency Certificate, or sufficient education acceptable by management.
- Valid driver’s license in the United States, or alternate approved by management. State of Indiana driver’s license required within 30 days of first day of employment.
- Must pass and participate in random drug & alcohol program in accordance with 49 CFR 199, Pipeline Hazardous Material Safety Administrative (PHMSA) and 49 CFR Part 40, DOT drug and alcohol testing regulations.
- Associate Degree in GIS, Drafting or a related Engineering Design Technology.
- Working knowledge of Computer Automated Drafting Design (CADD) or other design or modeling skills. Basic knowledge of engineering standards, systems, document control, departmental guides and Citizens policies and procedures. Basic industry knowledge and technology trends.
- An understanding of various Citizens systems. Ability to work cooperatively in a team setting. Organized and ability to prioritize. Able to multi-task numerous activities. Effective analytical skills.
