About the Position:
Citizens First Bank is seeking a dynamic Branch Operations Assistant Manager to join our Branch Operations team! In this pivotal role, you'll champion operational excellence across our branch network by guiding and developing our Branch Operations Specialists. Your focus will be on boosting efficiency and elevating the customer experience through expert problem resolution, proactive risk management, and the delivery of impactful ongoing training. Occasional travel to branch locations may be required to ensure seamless operational support.
Key Responsibilities of the Branch Operations Assistant Manager:
- Develops and implements new processes for efficient and accurate workflow.
- Coaches and trains branch staff on operations, compliance, systems, and risk.
- Collaborates with other departments to ensure branch operations adhere to bank policies and regulations.
- Identifies and helps resolve operational issues.
- Provides expert support to team and branches on policy, systems, and compliance.
- Reviews error reports to identify training needs.
- Ensures Branch Operations Specialists conduct staff development activities.
- Reviews and updates branch internal control audits and procedures.
- Prepares monthly and quarterly operational reports (audit, losses, etc.)
Branch Operations Assistant Manager Requirements:
Minimum:
- High school diploma or equivalent, applicable job knowledge with three years of CSR experience in a banking environment, strong working knowledge of account documentation requirements and standards in order to assist branch staff in providing proper account documents, must possess ability to read, interpret, and assist others in understanding legal documents such as trusts, powers of attorney and letters of administration, ability to read and understand detailed reports and compare workflow for verification purposes
- One year supervisory experience or minimum of 6 months leadership responsibility within Citizens First Bank.
- Must possess knowledge of banking laws, regulations and terminology and be able to draft short reports and effective business correspondence skills.
- Must have the ability to communicate professionally and effectively and must have exceptional customer relation skills.
- Must possess the ability to compose professionally written materials including procedures, reference materials, memorandums, and a variety of reports.
- Must be proficient in general math skills, letter composition and in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
This position requires the use of your personal vehicle along with proof of up-to-date valid driver’s license, registration and insurance coverage.
