Citizens First Bank is seeking a Compliance Officer for our Compliance Risk Management Department! The Compliance Officer oversees the Bank’s compliance activities, ensuring the Bank’s operations are compliant with applicable federal and state laws and regulations. The Compliance Officer is responsible for policy development and legal compliance for the Bank. The Compliance Officer actively participates in the development of Bank products and services to existing and potential customers, and is also responsible for conducting and overseeing ongoing training on compliance requirements and procedures. A major function of this position is attention to detail and communication with multiple external and internal partners.

Minimum : Bachelor degree in business; or five years experience in compliance or internal audit. Knowledge of and ability to interpret and disseminate information regarding federal and state banking law and computer systems. Ability to organize and prioritize work and meet deadlines. Strong verbal, written and public speaking skills and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated and self-starter. Executive level communication skills. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions. Computer literate with Windows and other applications. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals/training materials.
Preferred: Ten years of managerial compliance experience in banking or related environment in management and CRCM certification or other industry equivalent.
