About the Position :
Citizens First Bank is seeking a Consumer Processor to join the team! The Consumer Processor oversees a range of essential loan-related tasks for consumer, installment, and home equity loans. This includes efficiently performing clerical duties such as gathering and verifying application information, preparing necessary documentation, and ensuring compliance with lending regulations. The Consumer Processor also manages the processing of loan applications, administers the documentation required for approval, and facilitate the closing of both new and existing loans, ensuring a smooth experience for all borrowers involved.
What you'll do as a Consumer Processor :
- Welcomes callers with a friendly voice and expertly screens their phone calls. Diligently prepares and sends out Early Disclosures on time, ensuring compliance with regulations
- Actively seeks out essential vendor services like flood determinations and tax services to support the team.
- Thoroughly receives and reviews vendor services ordered by lenders, such as appraisals and title searches, contributing to informed decisions.
- Carefully crafts closing packages for new loans, paving the way for new beginnings.
- Organizes and prepares closed loan files for booking and imaging, ensuring online input sheets balance flawlessly.
- Meticulously checks loan files for completeness using a checklist, maintaining high standards of quality.
