What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Mortgage Funder (On-Site) position at Citizens First Bank?
About the Position:
- Inputs loan information into the LOS and creates funding requests using Excel.
- Verifies the accuracy of net funding data.
- Sends funding requests to Deposit Operations and the title company.
- the loan pipeline for "clear to close" status, ensuring all conditions are met before wiring funds.
- Prepares and verifies the wire request form for Deposit Operations to fund daily closings.
- Transfers closing funds to the title company or attorney's office.
- communicates with internal and external partners regarding funding status and receipt of closed loan packages.
- Updates funding requests as needed due to changes.
- Tracks and reconciles tolerance cures on the Closing Disclosure (CD) with the funding request.
- Ensures loan funding requests are scanned and delivered to Loan Operations within daily deadlines.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to work independently and as a team player.
- Must have the ability to retain information, be detail-oriented and the ability to multi-task and work under tight time constraints with a high degree of accuracy.
- Must have basic computer skills using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), good typing skills and skilled in using a 10-key calculator.
- 1-2 years of experience in Mortgage Funding
