About the Position:
What you'll do as a Teller Operations Specialist:
- Assist in developing and implementing processes to enhance operational efficiency and ensure timely workflows.
- Train branch tellers on procedures, compliance, audits, and risk mitigation to promote excellence.
- Collaborate with other departments to maintain compliance with bank policies and regulations in teller operations.
- Identify teller operational issues and help resolve them.
- Provide first-level support to tellers on bank policies, procedures, and compliance matters.
- Analyze reports to track errors and identify training needs for tellers.
- Applicable job knowledge with three years of experience as a teller and a minimum of one year serving as a Head Teller or Senior Teller in a banking environment.
- Must be self-motivated with the ability to identify issues and see them through to remediation.
- Must embrace the core values of innovation and creativity in order to drive changes that positively affect operational efficiencies.
- Must have the ability to communicate professionally and effectively and must have exceptional customer relation skills.
- Must possess the ability to compose professionally written materials including procedures, reference materials, memorandums, and a variety of reports.
- Must be proficient in general math skills, letter composition and in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- This position requires the use of your personal vehicle along with proof of up-to-date valid driver’s license, registration and insurance coverage.
- Applicable job knowledge with five years of experience as a teller and three years serving as a Head Teller or Senior Teller in a banking environment.
