Palace Drug Store - our outpatient pharmacy

Position Information:
The Chief Financial Officer will provide financial vision and leadership in the development and implementation of the Citizens Medical Center, Inc. financial management program. The CFO provides the leadership for financial planning, management of financial risks, record-keeping, and financial reporting.
Days: Monday through Friday
Hours: 8am to 5 pm
Pay Range: Dependent upon experience.
What you’ll do:
- Lead all aspects of the financial operations for the healthcare system, including financial
planning, analysis, budgeting, and reporting. - Oversee revenue cycle management, ensuring efficient billing, collections, and reimbursement
processes. - Provide strategic financial guidance to the CEO and Board of Directors, ensuring alignment with
the organization’s mission and long-term goals. - Manage financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate financial exposure, especially
regarding regulatory changes and reimbursement challenges. - Collaborate with other C-suite executives to drive operational efficiencies, cost control
measures, and sustainable growth. - Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance
environment. - Complete other duties as assigned per organizational need.
What you bring to the table:
- Master’s degree in a field related to business and/or financial administration preferred. Must have at
least 5 years of experience in a leadership position that promoted the development of skills outlined in
the Essential Functions and Experience and Strengths sections of this Job Description. Prior CFO
experience preferred. - Comfortable working in a highly visible role.
- Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles; strong
business acumen. - Strong skills in negotiating with vendors, contractors, and others.
- Familiarity with diverse business and healthcare functions where the effective management
on money and quality are important to strong financial success. - Highly skilled in budget preparation and monitoring.
- Strong prioritization skills.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate and general management best practices.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem resolution skills.
- Experienced in mediation and conflict resolution processes.
- Strong time-management skills: skilled in the art of multitasking and delegation.
