Position Information:
As a Revenue Cycle Manager, you will play a key role in accelerating organizational success by implementing revenue cycle management strategies to minimize losses and maximize revenue.
You create and revise processes to ensure patient data is thoroughly and accurately collected during the registration process so that patient claims can be accurately billed. You oversee policies, objectives and initiatives of the revenue cycle along the patient care continuum.

Days: Monday through Friday
Hours: 8am to 5pm
Pay Range: Dependent upon experience.
What you’ll do:
You use your MANAGERIAL SKILLS:
Maintain and oversee proper billing guidelines and ensure billing staff are trained and follow guidelines.
Routinely audit charts and payment records to ensure accurate documentation and reimbursement.
Manage the financial assistance program and make yearly adjustments to the sliding fee scale based on federal poverty guidelines.
Manage third party collections, bankruptcy and litigation activity.
Maintain a current fee schedule and ensure fees are at a level that is maximizing reimbursement in a legally compliant manner.
Review, change, and implement processes in admissions, billing, patient access, medical records, and collections to ensure maximum revenue.
Manage claims denials implement processes for continuous improvement to reduce denials.
You use your CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS:
Provide education and training to providers to ensure they provide accurate and complete documentation that maintains legal compliance and maximizes reimbursement.
Manage billing disputes and oversight of patient communications.
Support the company by completing other duties as assigned.
You utilize your ADMINISTRATIVE SKILLS:
Plan and chair monthly meetings of the Risk Management Committee, including developing, publishing, and maintaining meeting minutes.
Conduct surveys of the organization’s risk management program.
Prepare and distribute packets for monthly meetings of the Nursing, Ancillary, and the Physician Peer Review Committees.
Provide support to the quality assurance and corporate compliance programs.
Carry out your duties in an efficient, organized manner, capitalizing on tools and resources to handle the mundane and routine tasks that are an inherent part of risk management, workers compensation, quality assurance and corporate compliance.
You meet the following educational, licensing, certification and work experience requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration or relevant field. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
Five years of experience in healthcare preferred, including experience in revenue cycle and standards related to medical billing, coding, insurance, collections, and general hospital operations.
Experience in insurance negotiations beneficial.
Above-average experience in office productivity software (email, calendar, word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software, etc.).
