What are the responsibilities and job description for the Audit - Home Services position at Citizens Inc?
SPLIC Auditor will be required do research on debit’s pay history to determine who will be seen on the field/phone audit. These payor groups can consist of established customer or new business written on debit being audited. SPLIC auditor will be required to visit customer’s home to do a field interview. Phone audits are conducted on arrears case and customer not seen during field audit.
SPLIC/ MGLIC auditor will need to understand the computer system for research purposes.
The auditor may be required to assist in accounting duties which may entail bank recons, journal entries, and other projects that the audit/accounting department will help introduce to the field.
MGLIC Auditor will be required to visit the funeral homes where they will compare funeral home records to MGLIC records. This will ensure all monies that the customers pay to the funeral homes/agents are remitted to Magnolia and properly credit to the customers.
The SPLIC/ MGLIC auditor will report weekly audit activity to his/her manager.
The auditor will work with the sales managers by monitoring the remittance of money from the funeral homes to the Magnolia office. When money is not being remitted timely to MGLIC, the auditor will notify the sale managers so they can communicate with the agents/funeral home.
