JOB SUMMARY
Protects life and property of all persons on hospital premises. Patrols hospital buildings and grounds to prevent fire, theft, vandalism and violent acts. Secures, unlocks and protects hospital buildings and property. Responds to security needs of hospital personnel, patients and visitors.

1. Patrols facility (EF)

5. Enforces parking and traffic policy (EF)
6. Secures patient valuables (EF)
7. Investigates incidents and creates report (EF)
8. Performs lost and found duties (EF)
9. Transports deceased patients (EF)
10. Monitors disturbances, thefts, vandalism and assaults (EF)
11. Assists with combative patients (EF)
12. Utilizes de-escalation techniques with combative patients and visitors (EF)
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must have effective communication skills
PREFERRED:
- Knowledge of computers and writing reports
