Citizens Memorial Hospital Foundation (CMH) is recruiting a licensed Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join their dynamic team providing services to our residents at Colonial Springs Healthcare Center in Buffalo, Missouri.
Colonial Springs Healthcare Center is a 134-bed long-term care, skilled nursing center. It includes a 34-bed memory care unit, as well as a 16-bed high-functioning memory care unit. The center offers inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services. Speech, physical and occupational rehabilitation are provided by full-time, in-house therapists.
A typical day will include: Assisting therapists to provide individualized patient therapy treatments, providing patients with directions on the use of rehabilitative devices and equipment, documenting patient care services, and updating patients' records with relevant and timely information.
This position is: Part-time, 7:30am-1:00pm, Monday-Friday, (20 hours a week).
Job Requirements:
- Education: Completion of an Occupational Therapy Assistant program with an Associate's Degree from an accredited institution
- Experience: New graduates welcome; 1 year of experience preferred
- Skills: Patient care
- Licensure/Certification: Current Missouri Occupationall Therapy Assistant Certificate
