Citizens Memorial Healthcare (CMH) is recruiting a Financial Counselor at Colonial Springs Healthcare Center
Colonial Springs is a 134-bed long-term care, skilled nursing center with a 34-bed memory care unit to meet the specific needs of individuals with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia.
A typical day will include: The Financial Counselor is a full time position responsible for assisting residents and/or their family members through the admissions process. They will guide individual residents through the completion of the admission contract, assist with financial matters such as Medicaid applications and annual reviews, ensuring timely submission of appropriate notification to Family Support Division, oversight of the preadmission screening process (PASRR), and collections. This position will also assist the social service department with annual reviews, quarterly assessments, and transfer notifications. The Financial Counselor is part of a multidisciplinary team ensuring the overall care and satisfaction of the resident and their family.
This position is Full Time Days, 8:00am-4:00pm
