What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse position at Citizens Memorial?
Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) Is recruiting a licensed practical nurse (LPN), or a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) at the Southside Medical Center.
Southside Medical Center – Behavioral Health is a busy clinic that provides primary care and mental health services. The clinic is staffed by two primary care providers, as well as a psychiatrist and a psychologist. We have laboratory and x-ray services on site for patient care.
A typical day will include: Patient triage, assisting with medication refills, authorizations, and questions (under the supervision of a qualified nurse); appropriately documenting the medical record; completing and file forms correctly; coordinating patient care; understanding and complying with CMH policies and procedures related to medical legal matters, including confidentiality, release of information, and informed consent; support front office staff when needed; occasionally may be required to float to other clinics or positions as needed and assist in lab duties.
