A typical day will include: A typical day for the Medical Laboratory Technician includes receiving requests from physicians for laboratory tests, obtaining specimens using established laboratory techniques, calibrating, maintaining, and operating equipment necessary to perform tests, reporting test results to designated areas in a timely manner, and performing daily surveillance of test results, work records, and quality controls in the department under supervision.
This position is: Full-time nights.with shift differential.

Job Requirements
- Education: Associates Degree and completion of a Medical Laboratory Technician program from an accredited institution
- Experience: Adequate experience to obtain ASCP or AMT certification within 6 months of hire
- Skills: Detail-oriented, teamwork, communication
- Licensure/Certification: ASCP or AMT, or ability to obtain certification within 6 months of hire
