What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radiology Technologist Student position at Citizens Memorial?
Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is recruiting a Radiology Technologist Student for our Radiology Department as we continue to grow.
The Radiology Department works closely as a team to provide care to our patients. Utilizing new Siemens equipment and GE C-arms, techs will get variety in their schedule with opportunities to work in both the Hospital and Outpatient Imaging Center. Techs and Radiologists work closely together in a collaborative and collegial environment. CT is preferred and training will be provided.
A Typical Day Will Include: Performing routine and specialized x-ray examinations. Utilizing new Siemens equipment and GE C-arms, you will get variety in your schedule with opportunities to work in both the hospital and Outpatient Imaging Center. Scans are scheduled for 30-45 minutes back-to-back throughout the day to meet the goal of getting patients in within 5 days of request.
This Position Is: PRN - as needed, 4 hours every 2 weeks.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Must be a currently enrolled senior in an approved ARRT program at an accredited institution
- Experience: N/A
- Skills: Verbal and non-verbal communication, examination skills, patient safety
- Licensure/Certification: Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 2 months of graduation
