Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is recruiting a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Endoscopy Unit!
Our Endoscopy Unit is housed within the Douglas Medical Center, with an additional procedure room at the Main Hospital.
The Endoscopy Nurse will assist doctors with endoscopic procedures. Your primary responsibilities will include answering patient questions and addressing their concerns, interviewing and preparing patients for the procedure, observing vital signs, sedating patients, administering the necessary medication and IV drips, recovering patients after procedures, keeping the patient informed throughout the duration of the procedure, completing all necessary documentation including patient notes and discharge documents, providing assistance to Doctors throughout the procedure, among other duties.
The position is part-time, days
Job Requirements:
- Education: ASN
- Skills: Preferred one year hospital nursing experience
- License: RN
