What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scrub Technician position at Citizens Memorial?
Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is recruiting an OR Technician to join our staff in the Main OR.
The OR consists of 23 active Surgeons who perform an average of 372 surgeries/month. The OR has 6 outpatient, 3 inpatient, and 1 C-section designated suites that run 4 teams of staff/day. The surgeons work to educate, train, and develop staff to operate fluidly together.
A typical day will include: Assisting with supplies and needs of the department, perioperative care of the patient, preparing the operating room and equipment, providing support to physicians and nurses while the procedure is underway, and handling specimens collected.
