Overview
The ICF Site Supervisor is responsible for the direct oversite of the Citizens ICF.
Responsibilities
- Supervises Assistant Site Supervisor and Direct Support Professionals by assigning responsibilities and specific activities to provide and encourage each person supported to strive for autonomy.
- Instructs staff and people supported, participates in household tasks (i.e. cleaning and cooking) to ensure that people supported receive appropriate nourishment and that home is clean and safe
- Ensures that the residence is adequately staffed with trained and qualified candidates
- Maintains weekly work schedules for all staff by assigning shifts based on availability and the individualized, person-centered requirements of each person supported to ensure that appropriate care is always administered
- Maintains the bank accounts and expenditures of people supported contemporaneously on an ongoing basis.
- Provides and arranges transportation of people supported to activities and medical appointments by ensuring safety and availability of agency vehicles.
- Ensures that all staff are trained on all aspects of people supported’s program plan, all required annual training including but not limited to assigned annual trainings, incident reporting and abuse prevention, SCIP and CPR.
- Collaborates with people supported’ s designated day program by telephone or scheduled meetings to ensure integration of services and ongoing communication.
- Maintains appropriate records of staff by observing and documenting issues relating to time, attendance, level of performance, specific deficiencies, supervisory sessions and training needs to ensure the ongoing and effective supervision of each employee.
- Performs the responsibilities of Direct Support Professional, when necessary.
- Ensure that work-related safety procedures are in place and are being adhered to by staff. Observance of an unsafe act or a potentially hazardous work environment must be immediately reported to supervisor.

Qualifications
- Must submit valid and qualified NYS Driver's License.
- HS Diploma.
- Minimum of 2 years experience supporting people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities.
- Supervisory experience required.
- Good oral communications skills.
- Good organizational and administrative skills.
- AMAP certified.
- Prior domestic household experience required.
