Citizens Bank is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Analyst/Associate level candidate to join its Corporate Credit Securitization Lending (“CCSL”) collateral management team. The CCSL team is responsible for sourcing, underwriting, and managing loan commitments to investment funds managed by middle market leveraged loan managers and secured by portfolios of middle market loans. This role is crucial for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our collateral management processes.
This role will be located in Charlotte.

Responsibilities Include
- Downloading, organizing, and tracking documents from external sites, ensuring all required documents are obtained and accurately recorded.
- Verifying quarterly reporting metrics provided by clients ensuring accurate financial and compliance reporting.
- Reviewing and processing credit agreement amendments, determining if they constitute a material change, and updating relevant trackers and notes accordingly.
- Checking borrowing base files and underlying collateral documentation for accuracy and communicating with managers to address material items in a timely manner.
- Setting up documentation for new facilities, updating internal trackers and calculating metrics for draft loan approval notices.
- The role is also expected to grow to include direct client interaction in managing asset approval requests, calculation of metrics for draft loan approval notices, and producing a short form credit write-up for loan approvals or credit analysis of underperforming loans.
- 1-3 years of leveraged finance, securitization (CLO) and/or credit underwriting experience.
- Strong PC Proficiency, Microsoft Office applications, and Credit Research Tools.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excel and organizational skills are central to the role.
- Must be able to effectively prioritize, multi-task, and work within tight deadlines.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
