We are looking for a Business Process Outsourcing Accountant to join our Advisory Department. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for:
Responsibilities:
- Support multiple outsourced accounting engagements
- Acquire a working knowledge of the client’s business
- Prepare and review all workpapers
- Prepare and review financial statements for accuracy and completeness, including note disclosures
- Analyze balance sheet accounts and prepare reconciliations
- Perform daily posting of cash transactions and ensure cash reconciliations are timely
- Perform periodic internal audits on specific activity to ensure compliance with internal controls
- Research and facilitate the resolution of issues arising during engagements
- Interact with key client management to gather information, resolve problems and make recommendations for business and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- 1-2 years of experience as accountant; prior experience working for a BPO practice or working with an external accounting service provider preferred
- Intermediate to Advanced computer skills with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office programs with an emphasis on Excel
- Dedicated to superior client service
- Excellent project management, interpersonal, verbal and written skills
- Possess an ability to multitask and complete engagements within time constraints and deadlines
- Highly motivated self-starter and dependable
Salary : $72,000
