Responsibilities
We are seeking a Coordinator to join our Tax Operations team. As a Tax Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
- Setting up new clients in tax-related systems - Axcess, XCM
- 1099, 1042, 8027 filing
- XCM Due Date Reporting and Due Date List Maintenance
- XCM Management: setting up tasks in XCM, updating staffing at the client level in XCM, updating Client Groups in XCM, etc.
- Outsourcing and appropriate India permissioning in tax-related systems
- E-filing, monitoring the E-file Portal, addressing e-file rejects and schema validation errors
- Creating SurePrep Binders
- Participating in SWAT teams – AXCESS-SWAT, DOC-SWAT, AUTOFLOW-SWAT, PORTAL-SWAT, XCM-SWAT, SurePrep-SWAT, SafeSend-SWAT
- Collating of Tax Returns and Extensions, SafeSend Assembly including SafeSend Delivery to the client
- Saving E-file Authorizations and E-file Acceptances in CCH Document
- Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as a team player
- Must be able to juggle multiple projects
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and effectively handle stressful situations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Outlook, Word and Excel)
- Must be available to work overtime and weekends during the spring and fall busy season
- Basic knowledge of Axcess Tax, CCH document, CCH Workflow (XCM), SafeSend, and SurePrep.
